Cookie Policy
What we store on your device, and what we don't.
Last updated: August 23, 2026
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They are commonly used to remember preferences, keep you signed in, or measure how a site is used.
This page lists what Kept Shiny stores, and what it does not.
What we store
Kept Shiny sets no cookies.
Not one. There is no consent banner on this site because there is nothing to consent to: no advertising, and no tool that stores anything on your device. Nothing here follows you across other websites.
If that changes — if this site ever carries advertising — a banner will ask you first, and this page will say what the answer is stored in.
Audience measurement
We use Umami to understand which pages readers find useful. It sets no cookies, collects no personal data, and does not follow you across other websites. What we see is aggregated — page views and referrers, never individuals. This is the "aggregate audience measurement" our Privacy Policy refers to.
Managing cookies yourself
Every major browser lets you view, block, and delete cookies for any site. Look for "Cookies and site data" in your browser's privacy settings.
